ART DIRECTOR AND PRODUCTION DESIGNER

 

Anthony Christov is an internationally renowned art director and production designer for the award-winning Pixar Animation Studios.

He was art director for WALL•E and the blockbuster animated feature film Finding Nemo and was set designer for Cars and The Incredibles. Prior to joining Pixar, Anthony worked on Titan AE for Fox StudiosLand Before Time for Universal Studios; and Rescuers Down Under for Walt Disney Studios.

The Visual Development Master LEVEL 2 aims at deepening the educational path of students coming from the Visual Development Master LEVEL 1 with 9 additional months in which students will acquire the necessary tools which will help them defining their own career path in the entertainment field.

 

Students will build their professional portfolio under the guidance of top concept artists and internationally renowned studio directors such as Mike Azevedo (Concept Artist Blizzard, Riot Games Tencen, and more), Gabriel Garza (Lead Concept artist at  Microsoft studio, 343 industries) and Nacho Molina (Visual Development Artist and Illustrator for Locksmith Animation, Blizzard, Games Workshop, and Keyframe  Illustrator for Sony Pictures Animation).

The course is directed by Anthony Christov, art director and production designer at Pixar Studios. During these 9 months, students will be able to build a high quality and professional portfolio, specializing themselves in their chosen area of expertise, in order to become valuable resources in the animation, videogames and illustration field.

 

With the help of teachers and staff, students will also work on a personal project which will be their focus of study for the second half of the course. 

Important: students who have not attended Master Level 1 can still submit their portfolio to evaluate their entrance at Master LVL 2

STUDY MATERIALS+

The use of a computer with Adobe Photoshop installed and a graphic tablet are also necessary; students enrolled in the on-site courses are required to bring their own laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed and a graphic tablet, as the academy does not provide them.

The cost of the course is the following:

The total cost of the course is € 6100 comprehensive of:

  • € 1300 annual enrollment fee (VAT included)

  • € 4800 tuition fee (VAT included)

​The sum is to be paid as follows:

  • Enrollment: 1300 € (VAT included)

    • Deadline: to be paid at the enrollment

  • First installment: 1600 € (VAT included)

    • Deadline: to be paid within October 7th, 2024

  • Second installment: 1600 € (VAT included)

    • Deadline: to be paid within January 15th, 2025​

  • Third installment: 1600 € (VAT included)

    • Deadline: to be paid within April 15th, 2025
