Sam Nielson

Sam Nielson has 20 years of experience in the animation industry, including 10 years at Disney (Avalanche) where he worked as a concept artist. His other clients include Sony Pictures Animation, Blizzard Entertainment, Activision, Scholastic, Harper Collins, and many more. He teaches advanced courses online for Schoolism. He has also presented live workshops on design and painting in Moscow, Stockholm, Berlin, London, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Burbank, and Los Angeles. He currently works as an animation professor at Brigham Young University, and lives in Salt Lake City in the United States with his wife and seven children.

We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students can reach their full potential and become industry-ready artists.
