Maria Amélia Oliveira

Maria Amélia Oliveira is a Brazilian animator and animation instructor with over 13 years of industry experience. Since moving to Ireland in 2018, she has worked on internationally recognized productions including Rick and Morty, The Cuphead Show, Give a Mouse a Cookie, and Disney's Hey AJ. With experience as an Animator, Lead Animator, and Animation Supervisor, Maria brings strong expertise in cut-out animation, Toon Boom Harmony, and professional production workflows. As a Cut-Out Animation Instructor at IDEA Academy Rome, she is passionate about helping students develop their technical skills, creativity, and confidence as animators.
