Andrea J. Smith

Australian born, Andrea has spent over 25 years in Europe and the United States. She finalized her art training in Florence, moved to New York for several years, and since 2008 has based herself in Rome. Andrea began her teaching career at The Florence Academy of Art, she then opened her school in New York (The Harlem Studio of Art) and now runs “Atelier Canova” in Rome's historic centre. Her work is represented by "Forum Gallery" in New York and "Australian Galleries" in Melbourne and Sydney.

Our training methods simulate the work environment, with a teaching staff exclusively composed of top professionals from companies such as Disney, Pixar, Lucas Arts, Blizzard, Delcourt, Sony Pictures, Netflix and many more. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students can reach their full potential and become industry-ready artists.
