TOMMASO GOMEZ
ART DIRECTOR
Born in Florence on November 3, 1963.
Studied Book Illustration at the Art Institute of Florence and Set and Costume Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
From 1987 he began his professional career as a stage designer for opera in the workshop la Bottega Veneziana and in the following years became assistant to famous set and costume designers such as Dante Ferretti, Attilio Colonnello, Enrico Job, Franca Squarciapino and many others.
He combines his work in theater with that of illustrator for the Do.Gi publishing house in Florence, editing several editions and 3 personal illustrated books.
In 2002 he began his collaboration with Rainbow as set designer for their first animated feature film. Since 2005 he has been set design supervisor and in 2010 Art Director. In Rainbow he has designed the set design of the main 2D and 3D animated series and the creation of Rainbow Magicland theme park, and the interactive attraction Huntik 5D.
