FORMERLY ASSISTANT ART DIRECTOR AND LEAD CONCEPT ARTIST FOR ROCKSTAR NORTH, CURRENTLY FREELANCE CONCEPT ARTIST AND ILLUSTRATOR FOR FILM (WITH CLIENTS SUCH AS DISNEY, PARAMOUNT, SONY PICTURES ANIMATION, WARNER BROS AND FOX), VIDEO GAMES (‘SIGNAL FROM TOLVA’ AMONGST OTHERS) AND PUBLISHING (RECENTLY COMPLETED THE COVERS FOR BOTH THE ‘RAILHEAD’ TRILOGY AND ‘MORTAL ENGINES’ QUARTET BY PHILIP REEVE).
Ian worked at Rockstar North as Assistant Art Director/Lead Concept Artist on the GTA franchise, leaving in 2013 to become a freelance concept artist and illustrator. He has since been working mainly in the film industry for clients such as Disney, Paramount, Sony Pictures Animation, Warner Bros and Fox.
