ENVIRONMENT DESIGN WITH
3D GAME ART WITH
JORT VAN WELBERGEN
NOVEMBER 18 - 19, 2017
Concept Artist for: Shadowfall, Horizon Zero Dawn, Star Citizen
I am a concept designer for games and film, currently living in Rome. I specialise in 3d environment, prop and vehicle design and have worked on games such as Killzone:Shadowfall, Horizon Zero Dawn and Star Citizen.
Exploring creative solutions to realistic problems is what I love greatly, and working with constraints is when I thrive...
In this workshop I will show my complete pipeline for making a believable interior design using 3d modelling software such as Sketchup and Keyshot. I used similar pipelines when working at Guerrilla Games and Star Citizen. We will create an environment concept real time during the workshop, and I’ll explain my steps as I go about it.
