MASTER COURSE:

The Art of Storytelling

Now available ONLINE!

The Comic Art Master Course is now available online in live streaming.

The online live streaming version is the same integral experience as the on-site version with the same features, including access to IDEA's recruiting services and to recruiting events as well. It will include dedicated platforms and channels to facilitate the delivery of assignments and communication with both your fellow students and your teachers.

Join Lorenzo De Felici, Gigi Cavenago, Simone Di Meo, Cristiano Spadoni, Riccardo Torti and Michele Monteleone in one of the best comic art courses in Europe.

In this intensive 1-year course students will bring their own stories to life by inventing a setting, the characters, and the universe. The lectures and assignments will touch on all the major aspects of developing an original story for graphic novels and how to build a world.

Being a very practical course, students will learn how to create compelling comics and graphic novels that can resonate with their audience. They will explore the art of inking and the power of line as well as the most advanced and commonly used coloring techniques.

All of this will be based on a story you will develop in class thanks to specific classes on comic writing and IP development.

By the end of the course, students will have their comic project pitch ready, including the first pages of their story and the complete studies of characters, creatures, and environments that are part of it. Participants are expected to come with their own ideas/story as well as solid drawing and digital painting skills.
